Invitation for Art Submissions
We are again seeking out talented local artists to submit artwork in a collaborative effort to honor former Hospice individuals at two heartfelt community events. On September 8th and 9th, in Lebanon, NH, and Putney, VT, respectively, our hospice program will host the 3rd Annual Wings of Hope sm Butterfly Release. Last year the artwork of two artists was chosen to represent the event. Our advertising, web site, programs, posters, T-shirts, and greeting cards for bereaved families were all graced with art by one of the two artists.
We are again inviting artists to submit artwork that will dovetail with the theme and spirit of the events. If your work is chosen, you will be widely recognized in the media and throughout all our marketing efforts in NH and VT. You will also be invited to be an honored guest at either of our September events.

Visiting Nurse & Hospice of VT and NH Recognized as a We Honor Veterans Partner
It may surprise many people to learn that 25 percent of those who die every year in the U.S. are Veterans. To help provide care and support that reflects the important contributions made by these men and women, Visiting Nurse & Hospice of VT and NH has become a national partner of We Honor Veterans, a pioneering campaign developed by National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Visiting Nurse & Hospice of VT and NH Donate to the Upper Valley Haven
The Visiting Nurse & Hospice of VT and NH employees have selected the Upper Valley Haven to receive three hundred dollars from our Denim Friday for Charity fund.
The Denim Friday for Charity program is a voluntary employee charity fund. Employees choosing to participate wear denim jeans every other Friday and contribute one dollar to the fund. Each quarter Visiting Nurse employees select a local charity to receive a donation. See full article
